Welcome to The Gathering Place!

My name is Lisa Geleide. I am the photographer who captured the images on this site. I hope you are enjoying your photographic adventure. This is the place to come if you are looking for updates on what’s going on. I will post any exhibitions I’m having and other exciting happenings.

Currently I have no exhibitions but there is something exciting in the works. I am working on putting together a book of nature and wildlife photographs I have taken in Ohio. Check back here for updates on how that is going.

Well that is all I have for now. If you have enjoyed yourself here, I invite you to come back and visit me often. Until next time… Hope you have a fantastic day!

The Path…

The Path

Title: The Path

Last Saturday (8/19/17) I went hiking at Goll Woods located in Northwest Ohio. I love hiking here because most of the time, it feels like you are completely alone in the woods. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. I could stay out on the trails forever. If you ever find yourself cruising through the area… I would definitely recommend Goll Woods as a place to stop and stretch your legs.

If interested, I have several prints available for sale. Just head on over to the contact page and let me know.

Cruise In…

Every Thursday in the town of Bryan, Ohio a very exciting event takes place… The Bryan Cruise In. I have been wanting to go all summer long, but work always got in the way. On Thursday, July 27, 2017, I was finally able to attend. I just love looking at all the classic cars! If you ever find yourself in Bryan, Ohio on a Thursday evening you should check it out!

Independence Day Celebration…

Independence Day Celebration in Angola, Indiana on July 4, 2017!

Usually I just spend July 4 at home and watch the neighbors fireworks. This year I decided I wanted to do something different. After picking up my sister and sister-in-law, we drove to Angola, Indiana. The celebration took place at Angola Commons Park and offered entertainment for all ages. The highlights of the event were the live music, the lighting of the luminaries, and the spectacular fireworks display. It was definitely one of the most enjoyable times I have ever had while watching fireworks.
